14th January 2020 was the date Microsoft gave as the end of full support for PC Systems running Windows7. They will continue to provide updates, but on a limited basis, and have advised users not to rely on the operating system where security is essential.
The Microsoft website provides the tools you need to reinstall your PC with Windows10 and you will most likely find that your existing Windows7 licence code can be used to validate a new installation of Windows10.
