Terms of Service
If you appoint Great Sankey Computer Services (GSCS), the following are our terms of business.
The client authorises GSCS to conduct an evaluation of the computer or other equipment and provide an estimate of repair cost and timing. The evaluation is free and no work beyond this will be charged without explicit client approval.
2. Limited Liability
In no event will GSCS be liable for any loss of data, loss of revenue or profits, or any special, incidental, contingent, or consequential damages, however caused. The client is responsible for maintaining a secure and complete backup of all data held on the computer.
GSCS agrees not to disclose any information or data files supplied with, stored on, or recovered from the client's equipment.
Payment is due in full upon completion of successful repair, prior to release of the repaired machine, unless by special previous arrangement.
All new replacement parts will carry the suppliers 12 month guarantee and if proved faulty will be replaced and installed in your computer free of charge.
6. No fix, no fee policy
Our no fix no fee policy means that if the engineer does not possess the necessary technical knowledge or ability to resolve the problem or effect the repair, then no charge is made to the client.
Computers have been a fascination of mine for the last 35 years and I love keeping up to date with all the latest developments in technology. Most problems that people come across with their home PC's, Laptops, Networks and Printers are problems that I have already seen many times, and have been able to solve.... or at least I know where to look for the right solution!
People who deal with me will also know that I love a challenge with technology. I also pride myself on being able to explain computer technology in terms that others can understand - I wont confuse you with jargon but will explain what I think is causing a problem and what we can do to put it right.
